With AMR Tuning you can custom tune your car from anywhere with our remote tuning service. Using tools such as Bootmod3 and MHD, we provide custom tuned maps, guiding you step by step while you simply plug into your cars OBD port. We analyse the data direct from your car, calibrating tunes that are specific to your engine, gearbox and modifications.

How do MHD & Bootmod3 work
MHD and Bootmod3 are cloud based remote tuning platforms that lets us unlock extra power from your car without you coming to us.
All you need is:
- A MHD/Bootmod3 licence
- A laptop or smartphone
- An ENET cable or Wi Fi adapter
How remote tuning works
- Connect your laptop or phone to the car’s OBD port using the ENET cable or WIFI adapter.
- Request a custom tune from us.
- Send us datalogs from your vehicle.
- We then fine tune your custom map and send it back to your vehicle, supporting you throughout the process.
What is file service &
how does it work
File service is available to professional tuners to provide their customers with custom maps tuned by us.
- We remotely calibrate your vehicles using dyno logs or road logs
- Dealers can use our file portal to send and recieve files
- Choose a Stage 1 or Stage 2 map, or ask us for a custom file for your car
- We offer support before and after tuning
Remote tuning questions
Remote tuning means we send the map file to you and you flash it at home through the OBD port, instead of visiting us directly.
Yes, as long as the car is healthy and you follow the steps. We only offer remote tuning on supported cars with tools such as Bootmod3 or MHD. We check logs before and after the flash and provide any necessary itirations.
You need a Bootmod3 licence, a laptop or smartphone, and an ENET cable or BM3 Wi Fi adapter. We then supply your map and talk you through each step of the Bootmod3 remote tuning process.
For MHD tuning you need an MHD licence, the right Wi Fi adapter or OBD cable and the MHD app on your phone. We then supply your map and talk you through each step of the MHD remote tuning process.
Remote tuning on BMW performance cars that support Bootmod3 or MHD. Send us your reg and engine details and we will tell you if your car is suitable for remote ECU remap.
You need a stable internet connection to download the maps and keep the app connected while flashing. We always ask you to put the car on a good battery charger before you start any Bootmod3 or MHD remote tune.
Like any ECU remap, a remote tuning map can affect a main dealer warranty and should be told to your insurer.
Yes. If you change parts or want small tweaks we can send updated files and check new logs.
