How does Bootmod3 work
Bootmod3 is a cloud based remote tuning platform that lets us unlock extra power from your car without you coming to the workshop.
All you need is:
- A Bootmod3 licence, available at AMR Tuning
- A laptop or smartphone
- An ENET cable or BM3 Wi Fi adapter
How Bootmod3 works
- Connect your laptop or phone to the car’s OBD port using the ENET cable or BM3 adapter.
- Choose a Stage 1 or Stage 2 map, or ask us to supply a custom file for your car.
- Flash the tune to your car in a few minutes using the Bootmod3 software.
- Optional: Turn on extras like map switching, anti lag, flex fuel, burbles, cold start delete and data logging, then send us logs so we can check everything is safe for UK and Nottingham use.
What is MHD &
how does it work
MHD is a flash tuning app that lets us remap your car through the OBD port using your smartphone.
How MHD works:
- Buy an MHD licence (Available at AMR Tuning) and the correct MHD WiFi adapter or OBD cable
- Plug the adapter into your car and connect the MHD app on your phone
- Choose a Stage 1 or Stage 2 map, or ask us for a custom file for your car
- Flash the map to your car in a few minutes using the app
- Optional: Turn on extras like burbles, cold start delete and logging, then send us logs so we can double check everything is safe
Remote tuning questions
Remote tuning means we send the map file to you and you flash it at home through the OBD port, instead of visiting the garage. You still get a custom remote ECU remap from AMR Tuning in Nottingham, with our team guiding you on WhatsApp or phone.
Yes, as long as the car is healthy and you follow the steps. We only offer remote tuning Nottingham on cars we know work well with Bootmod3 or MHD. We check logs after the flash and can update the file if needed.
